1. Cancellation Policy

1.1 Booking Confirmation

Once written confirmation of the booking has been issued, the reservation is deemed confirmed and you become responsible for payment of the full booking balance in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

1.2 Deposits

A deposit may be required to secure the booking. Once paid, the deposit secures the requested dates and is non-refundable, except where we are able to re-let the booking in accordance with Clause 1.7.

1.3 Cancellation by You

You may cancel your booking at any time by providing written notice. The following terms will apply:

a. If cancellation occurs more than three (3) months before the Arrival Date, we will make reasonable efforts to re-let the booking.

b. If cancellation occurs within three (3) months of the Arrival Date, the full balance of the booking remains payable.

1.4 Additional Accommodation

Where additional accommodation (including but not limited to an annex, cottage, apartment or similar facility) has been booked in order to accommodate group numbers, this element of the booking cannot be cancelled or reduced within three (3) months of the Arrival Date if guest numbers change. No refund will be due for any reduction in numbers during this period.

1.5 Written Notice of Cancellation

All cancellations must be made in writing by the person who made the booking. The cancellation will be effective from the date written notice is received.

1.6 Confirmation of Cancellation

Once written cancellation has been received and acknowledged by us, the booking will be treated as cancelled.

1.7 Re-letting of Bookings

Following cancellation, we will make reasonable efforts to re-let the booking for the same period.

If we are able to successfully re-let the booking, we may refund part of the monies paid after deducting reasonable administrative costs and any difference in the price achieved for the replacement booking.

1.8 Unsuccessful Re-letting

If we are unable to re-let the booking:

the deposit will be retained, 

and if cancellation occurs within three (3) months of the Arrival Date, the full balance will remain payable.

1.9 Breach of Terms

If the contract is terminated as a result of a breach of these Terms and Conditions by you, no refund will be due and any outstanding balance will remain payable.
